‘Standing In Queue For 21 Hours’: iPhone 16 Buyers Go Crazy At Apple Stores In Mumbai, Delhi

Apple iPhone 16 series sales in India have started on Friday and people are queuing up at the stores to pick up the latest iPhone models.

The Apple iPhone 16 sales have started in India from 8am on Friday but people have been eagerly waiting for their pre-booked iPhone 16 units almost 24 hours in advance. In fact, some Apple fanboys have been in the queue for over 20 hours, just to pick up the iPhone 16 which they have already pre-booked.

One such customer is Ujjwal Shah, who has been waiting at the Apple BKC Store in Mumbai, just to be the first to enter the store at 8am, as he was quoted saying by ANI.

Similarly, you have Akshay, who travelled all the way from Surat to Mumbai, just to get his iPhone 16 Pro Max model. He is quoted saying, “I liked iOS18 and the zoom camera quality has become better now.”

In the capital city Delhi, the iPhone craze is no less, as one Mohammad Shariq has shown by coming from Saharanpur in UP to buy the new iPhone 16 Pro Max model. “I am an iPhone lover. I was planning to go to the Mumbai store, but I got it in Delhi itself. Earlier I was using the iPhone 15 Pro Max,” he was quoted saying by ANI in a report. These three are just a small sample of the people expected to line up on Friday to pick up their iPhone 16 units from across different Apple Stores in the country.

The company is expecting a busy start to the festive period in India, where the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro series will be at the top of customer’s interest and demand. The iPhone 16 series in India starts from Rs 79,900 while the iPhone 16 Pro series is available from Rs 1,19,900 this year in the country.
