OnePlus has announced the Android 15 update, which devices will get it and when you can expect the version.
OnePlus introduced its Android 15 update for users and some of them will be seeing the new version roll out as early as next month. The new OxygenOS version promises a host of AI features from the company. The new UI also looks to make the whole experience faster and smoother. OnePlus is starting the Android 15 journey with the beta version that will be coming to around 16 devices over the next few months.
OnePlus Android 15 Beta Roll Out: Which Devices Will Get It
As expected, the OnePlus 12 will be the first to get the Android 15 beta version from October 30 onwards which is just a few days away from now. Then, the brand will roll out the OxygenOS 15 version for the OnePlus Open and OnePlus Pad 2 tablet users in November.
December onwards, OnePlus will offer the beta version for a wide range of devices, including the OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus 11R, OnePlus Nord 4, OnePlus Nord CE 4, OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, and the OnePlus Pad.
Going into 2025, January will start with the Android 15 beta version coming to the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 10T and the OnePlus Nord 3. And finally, February 2025 includes the OnePlus 10R and the OnePlus Nord CE 3 moving to the new beta version.
OnePlus will start the beta programs to make sure all the bugs and issues are rectified before the public version is rolled out some time next year. OnePlus does say that these timelines can vary for markets, and possibly see a change in their roll out dates as well.
As of today, only the Google Pixel devices have been upgraded to the stable Android 15 version, while the likes of Samsung are yet to officially share its timelines. Having said that, Vivo has announced its new phones with Android 15 and Xiaomi could do the same very soon.
