Meta AI has come out of testing and is now available to all WhatsApp, Facebook users in India. Here’s what you can expect from the AI chatbot.
WhatsApp, Facebook And Instagram users in India can now access the Meta AI chatbot that lets you create images, answer queries and even help you make a quick search for a restaurant and more. Meta has been testing the AI chatbot with a wide range of users over the past few months but now it is finally coming to all these Meta-owned platforms.
“You can use Meta AI in feed, chats and more across our apps to get things done, create content, and deep dive on topics, without having to leave the app you’re using,” Meta highlights the ability of the AI chatbot built using its Llama 3 language model.
Meta knows that millions of users are on its platforms using their smartphones but even then, it hasn’t forgotten supporting Meta AI chatbot on the desktop. “When you’re trying to get things done at your computer, visit meta.ai. Need advice on a maths problem, help making an email sound more professional, Meta AI can help here too,” the company adds.
META AI CHATBOT IN WHATSAPP, INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK FOR INDIA
We have got a preview of the Meta AI chatbot with WhatsApp earlier and the company’s full rollout is the extension of the same to its other platforms. For instance, if you use Facebook a lot, the Meta AI will be available on the feed itself where you can ask Meta AI about a particular place, or even seek recommendations for the best time to visit the country or a historical monument.
WhatsApp Groups become a critical part of the Meta AI release, where you can browse through restaurant options, and even get a holiday trip planned and organised by Meta AI. That’s not all, like every AI model, Meta AI uses the LLM to help you generate AI images based on prompts and descriptions given by the user.
The text-to-image generation can happen using prompts like, cat flying in a spaceship with a rat and dog. Meta AI will create the image in seconds. The company claims Llama 3 is its most-advanced LLM till date and it seems confident enough to bring it for everyone, especially in a market like India where you have more than 400 million daily active WhatsApp users.
