Tech tips: How to check air quality level in your area using Google Maps

It’s that time of the year again when the air quality around us gets worse than the entire year. Especially for the Delhi NCR. Changing weather, festive crackers, harvest and pollution from vehicles will make the air quality worse. The bad air quality further risks everyone’s health with heart and respiratory diseases, especially people with asthma. During this time, it is advisable for people to restrict their outdoor travel. And check the air quality index before going anywhere to avoid health problems. To help you with that, Google has an air quality tracker feature which will tell you the current air quality index of places.

Google Maps has a dedicated tool to help users check the air quality index for an area. With the help of this feature, you can track the air quality of any place you want to visit or in the area you live. This will give you an idea of your surroundings and you can plan your outdoor activities accordingly. If the air quality is high or extreme, then you can just skip going out and stay at home instead.
